at an afternoon snack
I'm not sure Ivy is stable enough to sit there as I leave the room (keep in mind- she's still crawling, not walking), but she thoroughly enjoyed having big girl snack time with Asher, and I was never too far. Plus if she fell, she might get a matching bruise to compliment the one already on her forehead from falling off the bean bag last week!)
and under the table negotiations
The next day I found Asher like this under the dining room table eating peanut butter by the spoonful.
Ivy quickly crawled over to get involved in the picture worthy event. She said a bunch of baby mumbo jumbo, waited patiently and a got a taste of the buttah!
Too bad we didn't have digital cameras and blogs when we were raising children. All we did was clean up the mess. Boring!
ReplyDeleteToria! Glad you are back- I know moving stinks but I hope you are settling in OK. Cute pics of the babes - too sweet. Miss you guys!
ReplyDeleteHey T! I was hoping the dust would settle on moving in soon. Asher is in the right place with all those buildings. WIth John's new job and everything, you may have an architect on your hands.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are great. What a great experience.
ReplyDeleteShe is getting so big! Too cute!
ReplyDeleteI totally used to eat peanut butter by the spoonful when I was a kid- GO ASHER!
ReplyDeleteThe first thought I had was to make sure Ivy doesn't get the PB. My experience with giving it to Bennett at one year old was a bad one. Hopefully Asher will not have any problems but you can guarantee I will not be giving it to him for a long time...anything to avoid peanut allergies. Not fun. The pictures are great. You have the more beautiful kids. They are so sweet too. I hope we get to see you in August. Jennica said you might be in AZ.
ReplyDeleteMmmm..I understand the allure. :)
ReplyDeleteHow precious is that, sitting at the table like best buds. I'm looking forward to that time when the girls will play (and scheme) together.
ReplyDeleteHappy late birthday to John (a.k.a. "Leftover Burrito Day")!
That's so cute! It's so fun when they start ineracting more with eachother. I need to get a little table for my kids, that looks fun.
ReplyDeleteYahoo! I can't believe you guys are setting up house in Dubai--amazing! So fun to be able to check your blog and get the updates! Tallest building so cool and Ivy is so squeezeable right now--my favorite age! Asher is growing up so fast...I'm trying to potty train Carter right now and we are sooooo far from the water bottle stage! ;)
ReplyDeleteToria! You are the CUTEST mom ever! I just wish we could hang out with our kids. What cuties. Let's talk again!! It was so fun hearing from you. Miss you! Darcy
